This policy explains what information Symatic POS (“we”) collects through this website and the Symatic POS software, and how we use it. We follow India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

1. Your shop's billing data stays with you

Symatic POS keeps your items, customers, bills and reports on your own computers (the shop's main computer and its counters). We do not receive or store your bills or your customers' details. When you send bills to TallyPrime or WhatsApp, this happens directly from your computers.

2. What we collect

  • Contact form: your name, mobile number and, if you give them, shop name, city, email and message. We use them only to reply to you and to set up your licence.
  • Licence details: when you buy a licence we record the shop name, owner name, phone, email, GSTIN, city and state, and the plan and dates.
  • Activation and daily licence check: the software sends the licence key, a code made from the computer's hardware details (not your files), the computer's name, the app version and the time. Our server sees the internet (IP) address the request comes from. We use this only to confirm the licence and stop misuse.
  • Website: our hosting provider may keep standard server logs (IP address, pages visited, time) for security. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

3. Where it is stored

Licence and enquiry data is stored with our service provider Supabase in its Mumbai (India) region. The website is hosted with MilesWeb. Access is limited to us.

4. How long we keep it

We keep licence records while your licence is active and for up to 8 years after, for accounts and tax purposes. Enquiries that don't lead to a purchase are deleted within 2 years.

5. Sharing

We do not sell your information. We share it only with the service providers above, so they can run our systems, or when the law requires it.

6. Your choices

You can ask to see, correct or delete your information (where we are not required to keep it). To do this, use our contact page.

7. Changes

If we change this policy, we will update this page and the date above.
